There’s a massive 23 disc box set coming August 21st thanks to RCA Records, spanning over six decades of the brothers Isley.
Amongst the many, many, many albums that will be featured, the rare LP “Wild In Woodstock” is the one which we’re excited to listen to.
Rejected by the CBS label at the time, it features the brothers experimenting with a slick, harder funk sound, fully evident in one of the songs off the LP “Livin’ In The Life/Go For Your Guns”.
It’s a 110mph top-down style monster, so careful when driving kids.
